Feeder Pigs will be taken to Louisiana Tech Meat Lab in Ruston, LA for processing. La Tech is a State inspected facility.

Whether you order a whole or a half hog, you will be able to fill out a custom cut sheet with La Tech Meat Lab prior to C6 delivering the hog to them for processing.

The actual costs for a fully processed 275# hog in June 2026 was as follows:

$682 to C6 Farms for the purchase of the hog and delivery to La Tech Meat Labs

$318 to La Tech Meat Labs.

$1,000 Total (JUNE 2026)

A 275# hog typically will have a hanging weight of 198# and a take home weight of approximately 157#.

$1,000.00/157# = $637/lb take home weight
